Normativa

An Ordinance is a municipal legal provision or rule that is subordinate to current legislation. It is established with the purpose of maintaining control and good governance in the management of the municipality.

Due to their relevance, municipal ordinances are raised, debated and approved by the full City Council for compliance by every resident or visitor.

Once approved, they are general and permanent (until, where appropriate, they are modified or repealed)

The regulatory capacity of the City Councils is included in articles 137 and 140 to 142 of the Spanish Constitution. Against local regulations, just as against other regulations, there is no administrative appeal but directly, the contentious-administrative appeal before the contentious Chamber of the corresponding Superior Court of Justice.
